I've been interested in writing music since I was young.

I first made a sheet-music piano composition when I was six or seven. My interest in electronic music was probably piqued by games I played in my childhood, and hearing EDM through early 2010s YouTube.

I take influence from a lot of different artists in my current music, but some notable ones are Aphex Twin, C418, Squarepusher, Chipzel and Venetian Snares.

In a broader scope, my current music is influenced a lot by analog synthesizers, IDM, chiptune, and a pervasive feeling of melancholy.

As of 2024 I've started releasing music under the calcord moniker.
This new project comes from an effort to further refine and define my musical identity.
I've currently released two EPs and am planning on more in the future.

Prior to 2024, I self-released three albums and an EP under the cynir moniker.
Tracks from before 2022 are of lower production quality but I keep them up as a marker of my progress.
